Rules

Absolutely NO racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc.Try and keep the ooc chats drama free. In character drama and/or fighting is allowed, but please make sure and keep that separate while chatting ooc. If you or another member is having a disagreement of some kind, please don't hesitate to contact an admin. We will do our best to help you get things sorted out.Respect the wishes of others and don't force ships on anyone else. Make sure you ask ahead of time if another member would like to ship, to avoid any confusion. Ships should also be independent from one another, meaning 'canon' ships are not permitted.For threads, plotting isn't required but it would be a good idea to plot ahead of time. That being said, please do not write anything in a roleplay that affects another character without asking permission from the other person first.No NSFW unless it is in one of the designated channels for it. Strong language in ooc chats is allowed, just try and keep it in your pants.We do regular activity checks, once about every two weeks. If you haven't been active in over two weeks then you run the risk of being kicked due to inactivity. If something comes up which causes you to be inactive, for whatever reason, please let one of the admins know.
In general, just be respectful and mindful of other peoples' boundaries and there shouldn't be any problems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I apply?
A: You don't! Characters are given out on a first come first serve basis and there aren't any applications you need to fill out before joining.

Q: May I join as ____?
A: As long as the character is available, then yes, you may! The character list is updated whenever there is a change to the current character roster, so it's super convenient!

Q: Can I switch characters?
A: You sure can! If you aren't satisfied with your current character and would like to switch to a different one, please let one of the admins know!

Q: Can I become an admin?
A: Unfortunately we aren't accepting applications for new admins at the moment. If we ever need a new one, we will post an announcement requesting applicants.

Q: Do I need to make a separate account to join?
A: Not exactly. You can make a separate account if you want to, but it is in no way a requirement to join. You also aren't required to change your icon to your character, this is just something some people like to do!

Q: I've never roleplayed/roleplayed on Discord before. How does it work?
A: There are tons of different ways to roleplay, especially on Discord, but if you're confused you are more than welcome to look at all our roleplay channels to see how others do it. Our members all come from different backgrounds and have varying levels of experience with roleplay, so don't be shy!

Q: How do I interact with other members?
A: You can post in any open roleplay channel, request a channel for an open starter, request a channel in the one-on-one category if you'd like to start a thread with another member, or you can interact with whatever event is currently ongoing!

Q: How do events work?
A: Events are sort of like group roleplays, where anyone can interact with the prompt and are given a chance to be as creative as they'd like to be. Most events last for a two week period, with a week between events, but there are exceptions. Event announcements have their own channel, and dates, along with the event prompt, are always readily available as soon as an event is announced or goes live.
